Sacrament of Confirmation

"When the day of Pentecost came it found them gathered in one place. Suddenly from up in the sky there came a noise like a strong, driving wind which was heard all through the house where they were seated. Tongues as of fire appeared, which parted and came to rest on each of them. All were filled with the Holy Spirit." - Acts 2:1-4

Confirmation seals our Baptism and confirms our commitment both to the Church and to the work of Jesus Christ in the world.

"Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation that are all intimately connected. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ." - From the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults
