Youth of our parish (grades 4 and older) receive training enabling them to serve at weekend liturgies, weddings, funerals and special liturgies throughout the Church's liturgical year.

For those who have suffered the loss of a loved one, this group meets on the third Thursday evening of every month in the Parish Center at 7:30pm. All are welcome.

This group of parishioners prepares and serves breakfast on the second Sunday of each month (except July and August) from 8:00am to noon in the school cafeteria providing a social atmosphere for the parish community. In addition, members prepare food for other parish functions and fundraisers including Breakfast with Santa, Cornerstone, and the Annual Appreciation Dinner.

This group of parishioners cleans the interior of the Church on a weekly basis.

In October, this committee organizes the parish's participation in the CROP Walk event which helps raise money for Church World Services and other charities. Monies are raised through sponsors whose donations are based on the miles walked by the participants.

Cursillo is an in-depth weekend course which enables a person to enrich their relationship with Jesus through study, prayer, and action.

This group takes responsibility for enhancing the celebration of feasts and seasons of the liturgical year through decoration of the worship space.

This group meets once a month on the first Saturday to pray the Rosary after the 9:00am Mass.

Through this program during Advent, requests from various relilgious and service groups put ornaments on the tree in the Church foyer. Parishioners provide the gifts listed on the tags. These Christmas gifts are given to children of all ages, people with disabilities, senior citizens, and other people in need.

The Inter-Religious Fellowship for the Homeless is an ecumenical group dedicated to providing assistance and shelter for the homeless. Services include a walk-in dinner program in Hackensack, an overflow shelter at the Presbyterian Church in Franklin Lakes and the Emergency Family Shelter in Englewood.

These people of the parish are dedicated to proclaiming God’s word through the scripture readings and offering the petitions at Mass.

This ministry for children in Grades 1 through 5 takes place during the 10:30 am Sunday Mass. During the Liturgy of the Word, children are taken to the chapel where they hear the Sunday readings adapted to their age level. They return to the worshipping community for the Celebration of the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

This ministry meets alternate Saturday mornings at 7:00am to discuss and meditate on the upcoming Sunday gospel reading.

Women and men of the parish welcome members of the congregation as they arrive for Mass, assist with seating as necessary, coordinate the Offertory collection, and distribute the weekly parish bulletin.

Volunteers provide assistance to the handicapped and wheelchair-bound residents of the Oakland Care Center who wish to attend Mass.

Members of the parish welcome and help prepare parents in an informal atmosphere for the Sacrament of Baptism. The parents have the opportunity to meet other parents from the parish community and share in their baptismal preparation.

This group dedicates time to sharing the Catholic faith with those seeking to become members of the Roman Catholic Church. Through the use of Scripture, Prayer, and Catholic Doctrines, non-baptized inquirers are led through the process of formation that leads to Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. The process also welcomes baptized Catholic adults who wish to complete their Initiation by receiving the Sacraments of Confirmation and/or Holy Eucharist. Active adult Catholics are invited to participate as parish sponsors and team members.

Unbaptized children who are at least 12 years of age are prepared for the Sacrament of Initiation through the process known as the Order of Christian Initiation adapted for children. Full initiation includes Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist.

These members of the parish are committed to the education and promotion of the Catholic Church’s teachings on the respect, care and protection of human life from conception to natural death.

Good quality used and new clothing and bric-a-brac are collected from the parish community to be sold at the Community Thrift shop in Midland Park. All proceeds are donated to the Sisters of Saint Joseph Retirement Fund.

As part of the tithing concept, our parish sets aside ten percent of the weekly collection to help needy persons and causes that are not broadly funded. This committee meets once a month to allocate the funds.

Cornerstone is an opportunity to renew and strengthen one’s faith and at the same time grow in the experience of Christian community. It is also a way to meet and interact with other people from the parish in a warm welcoming environment on both a personal and a spiritual level.
