Monday and Tuesday Afternoon Classes -
- The decision to cancel R.E. classes will be made by 1:30 pm. At that time, our voicemail message will be changed - to hear that message, please call (201) 891-8390.
- If classes are cancelled, we will notify all Franklin Lakes and surrounding area schools (Wyckoff, Oakland, North Haledon) before dismissal time so that they can make an announcement to all students.
- We will call all families who live outside of Franklin Lakes on their home telephone number if classes have been cancelled.
- If Franklin Lakes schools have early dismissal or a snow day, Religious Education classes are also cancelled.
Cell Phone Policy
No cell phones are to be used while Religious Education classes are in session without the express permission of the Coordinator. Upon entering the school building, cell phones must be turned off and put away until classes are over. Cell phones are not to be used in the classroom, school hallways, cafeteria, gym, or bathrooms during class time. Cell phones are not to be used in any capacity (camera, texting, internet, music, videos, games, calls, etc.) during class time. If your child must have a cell phone on due to a documented medical problem or family emergency, please send your child with a note for the Coordinator or contact the R.E. office. If your child is caught using a cell phone without permission, it will be taken away and returned to a parent at the end of class.
