The Children's Liturgy of the Word is conducted during the 10:00 am Mass, usually twice each month (dates are announced in the bulletin). Children (ages 4-9) attending Mass with their families assemble with the week's catechists in the chapel of the Academy of the Most Blessed Sacrament, immediately adjacent to the gym. There, during the readings and homily, they are guided in an age-appropriate discussion of the week's readings with the other children of the parish.
The director of the program is Teresa Manning, who can be contacted at [email protected].
This group of parishioners prepares and serves breakfast on the second Sunday of each month (except July and August) from 8:15 am to 11:45 am in the school cafeteria providing a social atmosphere for the parish community. In addition, members prepare food for other parish functions and fundraisers such as Breakfast with Santa.

The parish is now live streaming Sunday Mass at 10:00 am, as well as several special Masses or prayer services depending on the liturgical season. Live-stream ministers operate the equipment the parish has already set up, and use a switcher to cut from one camera to the other.
Anyone interested in joining the live-stream ministry should contact Barry Donnelly, Director of Communications at [email protected].
Men and women of the parish welcome members of the congregation as they arrive for Mass, assist with seating as necessary, coordinate the Offertory collection, and distribute the weekly parish bulletin.

Parishioners are invited to share their musical talents to enrich all liturgical celebrations. Currently there are two musical ensembles, the adult choir and the children’s choir. The adult choir meets on a weekly basis, while the children’s choir meets seasonally. The children’s choir sings at the children’s liturgy on Christmas Eve and the 10:30 am Mass on Easter Sunday. For rehearsal information for either of the ensembles, please see the bulletin. Instrumentalists are also welcome!

The Religious Education Program at Most Blessed Sacrament has many opportunities for those who want to get involved in the faith formation of our children and youth. All volunteers must undergo Safe Environment training and a background check. Contact Diane Triolo at [email protected].
Each week, the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament uses dozens of altar linens during its schedule of masses. At the end of the week, all of them need to be cleaned, ironed and folded for the following week’s liturgies. Parishioners involved in the sacramental linens ministry follow an assigned schedule, which currently means that participants have a laundering assignment roughly once every two months (about six times a year). Anyone interested in assisting with the Sacramental Linens Ministry should contact Joan McAuliffe at [email protected].
